GONE TO EARTH – REMEMBERED AND REVISITED
The Lordshill Project, the brainchild of Shropshire resident Richard Beaumond, was formed to look at the impact of the location filming of the Mary Webb novel “Gone to Earth”, in 1949, when Hollywood stars mingled with hundreds of local extras. JK is called in to comment on the various traditional dances and tunes used in the film, and is one of the voices heard on a double CD of reminiscences, information, and newly inspired work. A live show, based on these recordings, tours Shropshire village halls over the next few years.

The Stanchester Quire, a community choir based near Yeovil in Somerset, and directed by Eddie Upton, commission a new Christmas Carol with which to conclude their seasonal shows.
